Welcome
Welcome one and all to the online home of Wright House. The internet presents the Connecticut College community with a unique oppurtunity to provide members with consolidated information in an organized fashion, oppurtunities that Wright House will take full advantage of over this year.
The site itself has been developed by myself, Jonathan McLean, your Wright Housefellow for the 2007-2008 Conn academic year. I am not particularly good at bulletin boards, and like many of you, my time at Conn has lead me to despise having to check my campus voicemail for any news of the goings-on around campus. My personal skills lie in web design, so I figured I would play to my strengths. This website at it's core provides the functionality to disperse information to my residents as I receive it, giving you the details of an event or read the most recent announcement affecting the college community.
The website also provides the house with a new avenue for community building. With the full potential of the internet behind us, anything is possible: from message forums to weekly resident bios to editorials and opinion pieces. Almost everything is possible if you can imagine it.
So I invite you to explore our community online. Read up on your house leaders, or check the listing of current events happening on campus. And as always, stay informed with the most recent announcements. And like everything else on the web, this site will constantly grow and expand to meet your needs
